Only a recent convert to Scottoline's books I went back to read an older one. I kept waiting for the break-neck action that I've seen (and come to expect) in her newer books. This one never goes further than peeking in and out windows and searching rooms and houses. Oh well. Not bad and the reader for the audiobook was very good.
Lisa Scottoline creates warm, believable characters in this legal thriller. A blast from the high-school past arrives in Mary DiNunzio's office in the form of Trish "Trash" Gambone who fears for her life and turns to Mary for help.
I returned this without finishing it which I hardly ever do. I have read some of her other books and enjoyed them. Not this one. I was completely bored and found the dialogue annoying.
