A fast paced exciting plot with various story lines, some good twists and turns and the usual cast of familiar characters. Overall a satisfying read with a somewhat unbelievable story line which I none the less enjoyed and will continue on with more of Roy Grace. I recommend it.

I was actually very disappointed indeed with this book. I have read every Peter James and this book was not one of his best. The characters were corny and unbelievable. There was no depth to the characters at all. The plot was very shallow and hardly believable either. Our detective was acting like an idiot in this story being smitten with the main female character like a teenage kid which is not what we expect of him. All in all a disappointing read. I hope Peter's new book is an improvement.

I just can't get enough of Peter James and this particular series featuring Roy Grace. It gets better and better with each book. Fabulous characters and great plots with twists and turns. Bring on the next one !!
