Excellent, intelligent, engaging book.
The movie is very well done as well.
I've read and watched it twice so far.
This audiobook is very well read.

What I loved about this book was that the excellent writing never made me question the implausibility of the time travel. It is a lovely, somewhat painful love story. I look forward to her next book.

My absolute favorite book - I have read 3 times now. I love the characters and the creativity of the storyline. I also went to college in Chicago so enjoy the attention to detail regarding the city.

To fans of fantasy fiction, try reading this book! However, if you find difficulties putting your mind on it, or if you are really not into the genre of Twilight, don't worry. I would like to say that I am not attracted to this book at all for good reasons. The structure of this book is quite confusing, and that ruins my interest for this book. Not that I completely dislike books that are written in an unique manner, but the plots should at least be organized into a somewhat satisfying sequence.

Well honestly I found it kind of boring :( I would have been more interested if the author gave you more background on the other characters in the novel. If the listener doesn't infact care or like Clare Henry , then they sound just stop listening as soon as possible. While the secondary characters are involved in Clare's and Henry's relationship there is little known about them . Except for Henry's Dad and Clare's parents. Ever chapter felt like it had the same sub plot repeated over again. Even though the book shows the relationship through Clare's time frame from her childhood to adulthood , it just doesn't captivate me at all. But I the one thing that made me actually listen was the themes ; adulthood , eroticsm ,love , and long distance relationships. I wanted to know what Clare and Henry's ending was not because of any superior plot , or exciting scenes , but because when I closed my eyes the writing convienced me they were at one time real. But Clare and Henry aren't a very interested couple . And story lulls because you don't really get any action untill near the end when Clare has three failed pregnanices and Henry is forewarned of his death. If the author decided to make his characters more lively and three dimenisional this would have been a story worth reading over and over again , like Pride and Prejudice or Oliver Twist. My advice Audrey retake a writing class and actually ask people what they alike to read in a story that makes it hard hitting , and meaningfull.

A wonderful book that I could not put down! I am glad I read the book before I saw the movie...the movie was disappointing for me. You must read this book to capture the details that make up Henry & Clare's life together!

LOve it! It is very complex and the plot just sucks you right in! I like how it flips between Henry and Claire AND between the years.

An absolutely beautiful debut from Audrey Niffenegger. Though the book is about time-travel, the truly extraordinary part is the story of love and longing between two people.
