this is an interesting book that talks about a time traveling pair, Gareth and his owner, Jason. Gareth is a cat, and he shows Jason how cats were treated throughout the ages.

This book is very good. I loved it. It will teach you about cultures and how they thought about cats. It wil be good for and cat loving person, or someone who wants to learn how the treated cats or something like that. Anyway it is a very good book.

This was one of my daughter's very favorite books (age 8). It tells the story of what different countries did with cats. She recommends for any cat loving kids who want a great book!

Jason discovers that his cat, Gareth, can talk, and is also capable of visiting nine lives throughout history. Jason and Gareth travel through time together, visiting nine notable places and time periods, such as Ancient Egypt, the Italian Renaissance, and Ireland in the time of St Patrick. In every place they visit, they both learn from and teach the characters who they meet, and in some cases, perhaps even change history.
