Great novel in verse that explores a child (JoEllen) of divorce learning to cope with split households through expressive free verse that describes her journey to self discovery. JoEllen's poetic entries range from confronting the school bully to braving uncomfortable conversations with her parents. Wonderful resource for a poetry unit to help students learn to be expressive.
