Wilfrid Wop May is noted as the pilot who led the famous Red Baron on his last merry chase before Roy Brown shot him down. His exploits ranged from delivering medical supplies during the 1920s and 30s, to his aerial reconnaissance in the hunt for the Mad Trapper. He is also credited with opening up the Canadian North to air transport.
