it was slow at the start but by the end i was flying through it and didn't want to put it down. its worth reading if you're willing to push through the first half

its moving and its horrific. the kind of violence the boy witnesses will make anyone feel nauseas, but the author doesn't dwell on it makign it bearable. it really brings the problems of land distribution to light in a "human" way, and also has interesting things to say about vengeance.
