This documentary tells the story behind Karen Levine's award-winning children's book, "Hana's Suitcase". A holocaust story brought to life, the film recounts the efforts of a Japanese historian who traced the journey of a 13-year-old holocaust victim, Hana Brady, through her suitcase. Her quest led to a surviving brother in Canada and the creation of the book.
